Enrollment – Scheduling Options

The Palisades Jewish Early Childhood Center serves children three months through six years of age, all are welcome. The school is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30 pm. We observe local district designated public holidays, major Jewish holidays and staff developmental day. Regular half days are from 9:00am – 12:30pm and full days are from 9:00am – 3:00pm. All scheduling options are subject to availability.

Infant Center

Our Infant Center offers children to come 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week from 9:00am – 3:00pm. Early care is available from 7:30am and extended care until 5:30pm.

2 & 2.5 Year Old

Children have the option of coming 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week either half days or full days for these classes which encourages socialization skills.

3 Year Old

Children in our 3-year-old program can come 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week either half days or full days. In this class, we combine developmental and academic activities.

4 Year Old – Pre Kindergarten

The children are encouraged to attend class 5 full days per week, however, we do offer 2, 3 and 4 day options as well as half day options. For our 4-year-old students we focus on preparing for Kindergarten through the use of developmental and academic activities.

Kindergarten

The children meet 5 full days per week. Our Kindergarten program focuses on “whole language” reading and writing, Hebrew reading, and preparing the children to mainstream into local elementary schools.

Early Drop Off

Our early drop off program begins every morning at 7:30am. Early drop off is available to children of all ages. Families needing this option are welcome to sign up for the year, or on a per diem basis with prior knowledge.

Extended Care

We offer Extended Care from 3–5:30pm every day. Extended care is available to children of all ages. Families needing this option are welcome to sign up for the year, or on a per diem basis with prior knowledge.
